Both version are good, Im just like the classic better.
This is a decent app for getting news. For some reason, however, it will not save the home page preferences. I set them (e.g., Top News, Sports, Technology) and after I close the app and open it again, it has reverted to what apparently are the default settings. VERY annoying. Fix this and it gets 4-5 stars. .
Happily using this app for 2 years. Was previously my go-to, one-stop shopping news source. Lately every time I open it and attempt to read, it closes itself down. No new app updates. Not sure whats going on????
Is the author of this app now defunct? Homepage still does not work by shaking it. USA Today does not fit on mobile screen. It is huge and unreadable and has become discombobulated. Also the pop up ads are annoying and do not go away after being forced to listen to them and clicking on the x. There are better apps out there, do not bother with this one.
Forget that I had to buy it a second time when I got my new iPhone 6 -- it just doesnt work--it freezes constantly. Wish I had saved my money.
